Afternoon programme

Children who stay for our afternoon programme start by eating their packed lunch together.  Lunch is both a social occasion and a learning opportunity.  Children prepare the table together, using glassware, plates and cutlery.  They eat and socialise with teachers and friends, before tidying up together and moving on to their afternoon activities.

We have a different focus each day, alongside art and nature projects which are often outdoors in Palewell Park.  Each day concludes with circle time and singing.  The focus for each day is:

Monday: Outdoor PE (Rugby Tots)
Tuesday:  Yoga
Wednesday:  French
Thursday:  Outdoor PE
Friday: Science and nature

From September 2024 a wraparound service will be introduced and will operate from 3-6pm for working parents. There will be a limit on the number of children enrolled for this session, to enquire about the after school care session please email sheen@smartpreschools.co.uk

Holiday clubs

Holiday clubs usually run during both the half-term and end-of-term breaks, often for a week or more.

Holiday clubs run independently of SMN and are organised and managed by Mr. Liam, a sports teacher from a local prep school. Mr. Liam oversees the clubs with a focus on a broad range of physical skills, team activities and outdoor games.
